Speech Pathology

Supporting families and children with language and literacy difficulties,speech and communication delays and autism spectrum disorders.

Janelle is a practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia with over 30 years experience in community health, education and disability services across Australia. Her recent experiences include Private Practitioner, Trainer and Consultant for Association of Independent Schools W. A. and Training Manager Autism Association of NSW.

Individual and group sessions are available for children who are experiencing difficulties with

  • general speech and language delays
  • learning and literacy
  • comprehension and understanding
  • spelling and reading
  • autism spectrum disorders

Parents are actively included in all aspects of the intervention.

Training packages for parents and teachers include:

    Full Assessment (with full report) $165 45mins $85

    Autism Assessment (with comprehensive report) $365 more than 1 hour $125

Some common concerns a Speech Pathologist can help you with:

Your child is not using words and gestures by 12-18 months or two word combinations by 24 - 30 months

Speech is often difficult to understand for less familiar people

Instructions and information need to be repeated often and answers are not accurate or only slightly related

Questions are ignored or child changes the topic suddenly

Child is not interested or unable to give information or retell familiar stories
